Emerald Windows was a great company to have install two door systems at our house. Luis and Rebecca we very professional and personable. They completed the project on time and were extremely tidy. I can wholeheartedly recommend Emerald Windows to anyone looking for skilled contractors who’s work speaks for itself.

I’m a high-end contractor in Philadelphia and I’ve used Emerald for a handful of historical window replacement jobs. They are real professionals, know their trade to the detail, and offer a great product. Would highly recommend.

We have used Emerald windows for all of our window needs and I highly recommend them. The salesmen and installers are total pros, the price is reasonable and competitive and the quality of the work is outstanding. They are also just nice guys and a pleasure to have in your home.

Emerald recently installed four new windows on the front of my Fairmount rowhouse. The entire process from the quick, no-pressure measuring appointment to the installation process was efficient and pleasant. The quote was so much more reasonable than the national chain and Todd didn’t produce a sample window from a Mary Poppinseque bag which, to me, was a bonus in itself. The installation crew were polite and prepared and installed four windows before noon on the two mornings they were here.

Hiring Emerald to replace my old, South Philly row home windows was the best decision I’ve made regarding my house. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Eric came out to measure my windows which relieved me of the stress in making sure I have the right dimensions. Both him and the team that came to actually replace them were kind and courteous. and mindful of being in my home (during a pandemic no less). Any adjustments they made during the process they let me know and asked if it was okay. Price was lower than other companies and didn’t upcharge for not replacing 5+ windows. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Easy peesy lemon squeezy. Just hire them.

Emerald Windows was a pleasure to work with for my unglamorous basement window replacement project. I felt confident with them as soon as I met with Eric to measure the windows and talk through the detailing. While we waited a while for the installation due to long lead times during COVID, it was worth the wait. The installers were experienced, polite, considerate and respectful. They did not cut any corners, and were careful with masking and cleanup. The follow up from the company for a complicated reinstallation of a security grate following installation day was phenomenal. I experienced excellent communication, responsiveness and craft from the whole team. I would certainly recommend Emerald Windows.

We needed to replace our front window and had a terrific experience with everyone we worked with at Emerald. Eric came to give us an estimate and kept us informed about the status of the manufacturing and install date. We had some hiccups getting a date to install the window (a snow storm and a fire), but once the team (Lou and Rebecca) came to install the window, they did an excellent job. They ran into the same issues all old houses have (things not being quite level) but made it work. We couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. We also found the price to be very fair. Recommended without hesitation.

We had been dreading the prospect of replacing our windows for years, and had put it off about as long as we could. And it was not just the expense we were concerned with. I must admit I was fairly ignorant of what would be required, assuming that there would be a great deal of difficulty, repainting, replacing of window treatments, etc. Not being he handiest guy, this seemed like a daunting prospect.

We searched for companies based on their customer feedback, and Emerald came highly recommended. Their pricing was very competitive. And when we discussed the concerns mentioned above with Eric, he patiently and effectively explained the process and answered all questions. He promised that they would take care of pretty much everything, minimizing any damage, repositioning window treatments, addressing any aesthetic concerns we had, etc. My wife and I immediately had confidence that Emerald was the company with which we wanted to partner. In fact, we were so confident that we decided to replace our doors along with our windows.

The process was very smooth, and we are completely satisfied with the results. Communication was excellent, with coordination on work dates, frequent checks to see if we had any concerns, etc. Any minor concerns or questions were followed up on expeditiously. The Emerald staff were unfailingly polite and accommodating. It was almost a pleasure to have the staff in the house!

The bottom line is that we believe we received excellent value for our money and the process was vastly less painful than we’d imagined. Now we’re just enjoying the much clearer view from our new windows. Emerald is a real gem.

I am just so happy we came across Emerald and called for an estimate. Best decision I have made for my house in a while. Emerald installed our historically-compliant windows prior to us purchasing our home, and came out to service the window at no charge when I unintentionally damaged it. As a result, we sole-sourced our new door purchase to Emerald; they did a phenomenal job from the quotation through collaborating with Main Line Architectural Hardware to source and install bronze hardware through installation and cleanup. They even complied with my request to use custom F&B paint, and sanded down, repainted, and re-hardwared our shutters to match. I am always wary about sole sourcing projects, but I was comfortable doing so given the confidence I had in their service.

Professional, friendly, quality workmanship. Good communication regarding install, and finished the job in the time frame promised. Windows look great, and we recommended Emerald to several neighbors.

Eric came to my home twice to ensure accurate measurements and to ensure that he recommended an appropriate product. He was super attentive during the decision phase, answered my questions promptly, and made recommendations based on his expertise and my needs.

Materials were manufactured in a timely manner, especially due to COVID. Installation was scheduled promptly.

Where this outfit really shines is their install team. I was hesitant to leave strangers alone in my home, but once I met Rebecca and Louie I knew that I had nothing to worry about. There were a few snags because of my very old rowhome and they took them in stride and explained every detail. They were also SO CLEAN. I’m fairly sure my home was more clean after they left than it was before they came.

There was one minor detail that I requested that was missed during the initial install that was likely due to my miscommunication, and they had it fixed within days.

As a new homeowner who has engaged a lot of contractors, Emerald Windows has far exceeded my expectations. Pricing was more than competitive, scheduling was painless, and their installation team is top notch. Hire them. You won’t regret it.

Todd of Emerald Window made this process seamless. From the first visit to my home, to follow-up emails and phone calls from Amanda, to the installation. I had a beautiful Security door installed. Todd was very helpful in picking out a door and a color that matched my home. Louie Diaz installed the door along with his partner. They were very professional, doing a magnificent job as well as well as cleaning up when they were done. I’ve been receiving many complements since the installation a week ago. I’m very pleased with Emerald Window and will certainly work with them again!!

Everything from the initiation of contact to the final step out the door went smoothly and professionally.  These guys haven’t drunk the typical contractor kool-aid of habitual non-punctuality, lack of responsiveness, and delayed work without communication.  I was amazed at what a crack team of experts stormed into our house exactly at the time they said they’d be there- they were literally doing the work in under a minute of walking through the door.  Everybody I interacted with was friendly and courteous.  I was happy to give them our money, and believe me, I’ve been quite unhappy to give my money to contractors before.  Go with these guys, they know what they are doing- and as an added bonus, their estimate of the job was $600 less than Home Depot’s!

The entire team from start to finish was very professional. The work was tricky at times but the crew had the experience and skill to do a top-notch job.  It was my second time using Emerald, and I would be happy to use them again.

We replaced 10 original windows in our 100 year old home.  We got 6 vinyl and 4 arched wooden windows. They all tip open for easy cleaning. We chose Emerald due to their experience with historical properties. The process from start to finish was incredible and I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors. They took a lot of care when removing the old windows to save our original wood trim in our home. My only regret is that we didn’t do it years ago.

I had 4 single pane windows and old storm windows removed.  New sliders were installed.  I had over 10 people come out to look at the job and give me quotes.  Just about everyone else said they couldn’t do the job or wanted an outrageous price.  The old windows were arched.  I did not want to pay for custom windows so I had rectangular windows installed and the moulding had to be custom built to the space.  Emerald Windows did a truly fantastic job.  The windows I chose are high quality and the craftsmanship of the install/woodwork was top notch.  The crew were extremely friendly and left the space spotless when they were finished.  I am extremely pleased with the outcome.  I would definitely hire them again.
